We Can Make a Difference

Life can be overwhelming, complicated, challenging and downright hopeless at times. It can seem like an impossible feat to better the world. Where does one even start? Bettering the world must begin at the individual level, and the key to this individual work is love. Christ Jesus said, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you” (John 15:12).

The goal of Jesus’ followers is to live by the divine idea that we must all be unselfish, merciful and kind. No matter how awful humanity seems to become, we must continue to focus our energies on unselfed love and prayer, along with the unshakable understanding that God is divine Spirit, and His creation, spiritual.

Demonstrate Love

The ability to demonstrate Love in various ways, from kindness, compassion, forgiveness and unselfishness, is the prerogative of all mankind. This is because our existence is based in the reflection of ever-present and inexhaustible divine Love, God.

You and I can start to make a difference in the world simply by living “the Love that is God in our daily activities, thus bringing to the dark places of fear and unhappiness the healing, saving light of divine Truth.”
