Online exhibition: American Women in Religion

March 1 - March 31

“American Women in Religion” is an online exhibit celebrating notable and extraordinary American women in religion during National Women’s History Month.

This online panel exhibit helps the public learn about, appreciate, and celebrate the lives, ideas, and accomplishments of exceptional American women in religion.  The panels give sketches and details of such women. Included, of course, is Mary Baker Eddy.  Though she was described in an important newspaper in 1907 as “the most famous, interesting and powerful woman in America, if not in the world, today,” many people today know little of her and her amazing life and accomplishments.

You can access the exhibit throughout the month of March at www.americanwomeninreligion.com.

Sponsored by the Christian Science Informal Group in Germantown, Maryland.
