In-person event: A spiritual way to think about our role in world events

July 27 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

It can sometimes feel as if the end of the world is near, especially when everyone’s talking about it. The media and other means of conversation can contribute to this “fear-mongering.” Christian Science employs the power of prayer to face and solve problems.

A weekly online program called Sentinel Watch interviews healers about current personal, community, and global challenges. This week’s guest, Lynn Jackson, shares practical spiritual ideas on how to pray about fear in our own lives and for the world in this 47-minute talk. Lynn is a Christian Science practitioner and teacher from Lubbock, Texas. This free meeting is at the Christian Science Reading Room in Old Town, Alexandria.  Stay after for an informal discussion if you like! All are welcome!
