October 11 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

What is needed to strengthen trust? How do people who disagree treat one another civilly? What’s the role in information in healing division?

Join the conversation at an open house at the Christian Science Reading Room in downtown Washington — part of a series from the Christian Science MonitorIn his capacity as senior staff writer, Peter Grier directed coverage for the Monitor on most news events in the Nation’s Capital for more than four decades. He earned the pen name, The Explainer, for a reason. Grier will speak on changes he observed about Trust & Civility in the Metro Washington region, broadening and connecting the ongoing Monitor series of conversations on Rebuilding Trust to the DMV region. He will also take questions from the audience.

Free parking in the 900 Building Private Garage on I Street, NW.

Publication transportation: a short walk from the McPherson Square (Blue/Orange/Silver lines) and Farragut North (Red line) Metro stations.
