This website is an activity of the Christian Science Media Committee of Greater Washington (CSMC), P.O. Box 16101, Alexandria, Virginia 22302. The committee is composed of representatives from the Christian Science churches in the area, and is responsible for joint advertising and broadcasting activities.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, we welcome your contributions, which are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Most of the content on this site was written by David Foote; he also created the artwork of the birds. The site was developed for CSMC by Tom Gutnick of Sunny Banana IT Consulting.
The site has been designed to function well with any contemporary standard web browser, in accordance with the XHTML standards established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and has been tested with current versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, Konqueror, and Opera. Extensive use has been made of Cascading Style Sheets, but only minimal use of JavaScript and cookies. We have endeavored to create web pages that will load quickly, even over slow dial-up connections. Problems may be reported to the Webmaster.
