Giulia Nesi Tetreau\, a worldwide Christian healer from Fairfield\, Connecticut\, will tell you how she helps others on a daily basis through a scientific approach to prayer which brings about positive results. \n_______________________________________________________________________ \nAbout Giulia Nesi Tetreau\n \nFrom Giulia:\n“I’ve always loved people—their life stories\, struggles\, successes.  I regularly meet individuals actively cultivating their spiritual life.  And I love sharing Science and Health with them! \nI see much of my own journey in these seekers.  A few years into my career in the mental health field\, despite having achieved professional success\, I felt empty inside.  I had everything I’d been taught would make me happy but instead was dissatisfied and restless\, yearning for something deeper.  That’s when I was introduced to Christian Science through Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures\, by religious reformer\, Mary Baker Eddy.  In it\, I found a shared sacred space with the author and experienced a profound sense of coming home. \nSome years later\, I was compelled to leave my psychotherapy practice to focus completely on my Christian Science healing practice.  It was an imperative demand from within me—I had to be true to myself. “His word is in my heart like a fire…I am weary of holding it in.”* I needed to practice in the way I understood would be most helpful. \nSince then\, sharing the revolutionary message contained in the pages of Science and Health has been the cornerstone of my life.  I helped oversee the worldwide activity of bringing the book to a wider public audience.  I also managed a special project established to respond to the growing interest from healthcare professionals in learning more about Christian Science. I’ve lectured to the public in a variety of settings and venues\, from prisons to professional healthcare audiences and everything in between. SUMMARY:In-person event: How spiritual perception brings healing
DESCRIPTION:This talk is for people who feel that they are stuck in a limited\, material world\, with limited prospects\, limited resources\, and limited health. In contrast to those feelings of limitation\, we are children of God and God is spiritual\, limitless. Speaker Alexandre Fischer\, a practitioner of Christian Science healing from Pau\, France\, explains that by understanding more clearly our relationship with God\, infinite good\, we can learn to drop feelings of limitation\, end fear\, and see a way forward.\n_______________________________________________________________________ \nAbout Alexandre Fischer\n \nFrom Alexandre:\n“Practicing litigation law in France and the United States for several years informed Alex’s practice of Christian Science. The law was not just his job\, he says\, it was his passion. To Alex\, being a good lawyer meant exercising the ability to think precisely and feeling a desire to help others get out of trouble. \nDuring his years as a lawyer\, his interest in Christian Science grew. At first\, he was impressed by its remarkable healings and resolutions\, but as he dug deeper\, he found a profound spirituality. He used to believe that religion and spirituality meant accepting a system of beliefs and letting go of discernment and critical thinking. But the more he studied and practiced this spirituality\, the more he found that one’s relationship with God requires critical thinking to understand spiritual concepts. These concepts can in turn be applied to one’s life to bring healing. \nGradually\, he gave up his law practice to become a full-time Christian Science practitioner. Alex still works to help others “get out of trouble\,” that is\, to overcome a sense of limitation and to find freedom. \nAlex discovered that Christian Science is not just about feeling better or fixing problems. It’s about being willing to challenge one’s world view as entirely molecule-based and soulless\, to be open to see the world as spiritually-based and experience how this change in perspective brings inner peace and healing. Christian Science helps us understand our relationship with God\, infinite good\, more clearly.
