McLean Day is an annual community festival, featuring carnival rides, great food, live entertainment, and booths for local businesses and crafters, running from 11 AM to 5 PM. Come visit the McLean Christian Science Reading Room's booth — we'd be happy to talk with you, or you can just stop by for a free balloon!

Can there really be a science to Christianity? Are there really spiritual laws that can be proven reliably? Three twenty-minute talks will be given by Mary Alice Rose, a former physical scientist and now a practitioner of Christian Science healing. You will hear examples of healings through Christian Science, or the Science of Christianity.

- Alex Cook Concert

Come for an evening of inspirational music. Last month, Alex Cook performed in Oakton. This concert was attended by a variety of faiths — Catholic, agnostic, Muslim, Sufi, and Christian Scientists were all among the group attending. Everyone eagerly drank up the universally holy message of his songs, and left feeling like they walked on holy ground and felt revived and cherished.
