  • Love-A-Thon Musical Celebration
    Sunday, April 23
    2:00 PM
Seventh Church of Christ, Scientist, Washington, wishes to do its share in contributing to mankind's harmonious being or life style. Man's yearning for love is universal. Amid today’s belief of hostility, conflict, confusion, and fear, love — when demonstrated on a one-to-one basis — can reverse these beliefs and bring happiness, peace, joy, tranquility, and freedom from suffering. Man can therefore realize that these sacred qualities have their source in God. Love sustains and blesses mankind.
So please join us for an inspirational musical event. Refreshments served afterwards.

  • Neither Young Nor Old
    Sunday, April 23
    2:00 PM
"It is not inevitable that life will become less intense as years go by, leaving people classified as 'elderly', with poor health and limited possibilities of being useful to society". Spiritual healer and teacher Heloise Rivas will show us by looking at the lives of Christ Jesus and Mary Baker Eddy how spiritual maturity is innate in each individual, whether a child or an adult. These lives demonstrate what we all can attain as an understanding of our relationship with God is gained and the blessings unfold. This is a Bible-based talk and one of two talks given on this weekend by the Ms Rivas.
Sponsored by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Alexandra; First Church of Christ, Scientist, Arlington; and Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist, Washington.
