Events include lectures, book talks, and workshops on Christian Science, all open to the public. Events are free unless a charge is mentioned. (You may wish to also view the calendar of events of more specific interest to church members.)

  • The Healing Power of Stillness
    Saturday, September 30

    Larissa Snorek-Yates, a practitioner of Christian Science healing from Boston, will talk about how everyone can discover a stillness that brings rest and healing to our everyday lives. Christian Science teaches how to find a deep-settled calm within ourselves that cannot be disrupted by fear or any outward disturbance. The talk will include examples of how the Bible and the writings of Mary Baker Eddy have brought lasting peace and complete healing to individual lives.

  • Counteracting Terrorism — The Global Reach of Prayer

    Kari Mashos, a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing from Cape Neddick, Maine, and Athens, Greece, speak. She will share experiences of when she was confronted first-hand with terrorism in the USA and the Middle East, and which provided a way for her to share how the practice of Christian Science can help the world understand and utilize the healing power of the First Commandment as well as the equally important one to “love your neighbor as yourself."

  • Bible Bunch for Lunch

    11:30 AM–1:00 PM
    Join us for our monthly non-sectarian Bible study program. We are currently studying the book of Genesis. No special preparations are needed. All are welcome and we encourage different editions of the Bible for our study.

  • Finding God, Finding Health

    How does an understanding of God result in healing? Why would one choose prayer as a viable form of health care? These questions and others are the focus of this free talk by Michelle Nanouche, international Christian speaker, teacher, and healer from Paris, France. She will share examples from her own current Christian Science healing practice. Come and explore prayer as a reliable way to maintain your health.

  • The Science of Christianity

    "Can there really be a science to Christianity? Are there really spiritual laws that can be proven reliably?" Mary Alice Rose, a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing, will discuss these questions in a free talk. She says, "Christian Science is rooted in the scientific method. I've witnessed examples in my own life and that of others illustrating how spiritual laws can be put into practice."
